Birth Comfort Class

Includes personal Doula assistance

Meet local doulas while learning techniques to help your labor and birth.  Classes are led by certified ICEA Educator and Doula.

Couples will be guided through hands on techniques with the assistance of a doula by their side.

This class allows couples the opportunity to meet with local doulas, ask questions, and test chemistry in one setting, instead of scheduling separate doula interviews.

Two hour class covers:

• Labor Process

• When to go to birth place

• How a doula is beneficial
  

• Relaxing Deeply: Early labor techniques, touch relaxation, focal points and visualizations
  

• Empowering Mom: Affirmations, hand massage, foot massage, and using heat
  

• Back Labor Comfort: Various labor positions and ways to ease back labor
